Couples Counseling Helps

The National Institute of Health found that most couples seek counseling after an average of over 2.5 years of conflict. If you feel like you and your partner are having the same fight over and over, it might be time to try counseling. It can help.

Emily specializes in working with women, men, and couples transitioning into parenthood and raising young children. Being a new parent means changes in sleep, routine and responsibilities, then comes the grind of parenting young children. These types of changes put stress on even the most secure relationships.

In couples counseling, the goal is to strengthen the friendship and connection between partners and to help each person be seen and heard. You will learn how to avoid the pitfalls of conflict so that you will stop having the same fight over and over again. You will be able to more deeply connect with your partner, support one another through difficult times and have a happier and healthier relationship.
